Nothing like kicking off the new year with some vacation photos. Jess and I were lucky enough to spend most of last week bumming around Paris with her brother. After I dragged my huge camera around Napa on our honeymoon a few months back, it was nice to travel light with one small camera, my Fuji x100. Apparently we also missed winter here, as rumor was it was single digits in Boston last week, and it was in the mid-40s most of our time in Paris. A few favorites from our trip:

New Year’s Eve on the Seine:

Notre Dame Cathedral:

We waited in line almost two hours to go up the Eiffel Tower, and when we finally made it up, were met by sideways rain. On one side. The other was still bright and sunny, which led to a double rainbow.

A few more favorites, including some from out visit to the Catacombs, home to approximately 6 million bodies.
