Talk about kicking the wedding season off in style. Saturday Jess and I had the pleasure of photographing Taran and Robert’s wedding at the Cambridge Multicultural Arts Center (a totally hidden gem in the city), and with us (fingers crossed) closing on a new house this week, it was extra important to me that they had their images before we move (and finish packing, which still has to be done, thank god Jess is an organizational wizard).

I met Taran at the Royal Sonesta, where her room had one of the best views of the Boston skyline that you’ll ever see.

Robert said he’d fought off tears while practicing his vows – this was right as Taran began her walk down the aisle.

Taran used to play in a kazoo group, and all the guests received kazoo favors, which led me to this:

Cambridge Multicultural Center Wedding

More to come soon from Taran and Robert’s Cambridge Multicultural Center wedding, but this was too good not to share, and you know I can’t pass up an opportunity for a Springsteen reference.

Before the 2012 wedding season kicks off tomorrow with Taran and Robert in Cambridge, I wanted to share some of my favorites from last night’s engagement shoot with Katelyn and Jeff. They’re getting married in a few weeks at The Fells in Newbury, New Hampshire, so we thought it would be fun to roam some of their local hangouts for their engagement photos.

We kicked things off near the Bunker Hill Monument, in what seems like the first time I’ve seen it scaffolding free in years.

From there we made our way down to the Navy Yard, where we stumbled onto this super cool old Jeep (that totally looks like it still runs).

As the light started to drop we headed down toward the water. Navy Yard pier = super windy every single time.
